FORESTLAKE BECKY was registered in 2003 by Fran Harding. It is the parent of Mike Grossman’s MARMALADE MUNCHER and also the parent of Fran’s fine daylily, PLEATS FOR LAURA. Don’t get too excited about obtaining PLEATS FOR LAURA.. Fran has indicated that she is not ready to release it. Darn! PLEATS FOR LAURA is one of the finest examples that I’ve seen as an improved FORESTLAKE RAGAMUFFIN. The deep ruffling extends from the throat onto the petals. The petals show more hooks than teeth on the edge. Saw tooth sepals complement the daylily. I’m glad I did get Mike Grossman’s MARMALADE MUNCHER as it also has saw tooth sepals. For now enjoy the picture of PLEATS FOR LAURA. I have! Thanks to Fran for sharing the image! …More tomorrow on the daylily teeth blog…
