WORTHY OF DISTINCTION

Following up with yesterdays discussion, pictured is ANGELO’S  registration WORTHY OF DISTINCTION.  Here is what Angelo says, ” Mike,  here is a picture of WOD taken in my yard.  It is a cross out of Forestlake Ragamuffin and a seedling  that also has F.L. Ragamuffin in the background. WOD is  a hard dormant with a high bud count 30-40. WOD is very toothy on the sepals and petals.   WOD passes on the toothy traits to many of it kids.  I want to thank Dan Trimmer for putting WOD in his catalog for me and making it available to the hybridizer’s community.  I am anxious to see what the hybridizer’s can create with it….. Angelo”… Angelo, I had a chance to discuss WOD with Dan Trimmer a year ago. Dan said he was proud to grow WOD and had bloomed keepers out of it. Thanks for sharing your comments….I think you got John Benz’s attention! More teeth tomorrow on the Daylily Blog..
