I remember first seeing Eight Miles High at Moldovan’s gardens. This past year I was using the pollen from a Lambertson daylily “Diamond Star Halo” which is a kid of Eight Miles High. Very nice purple color. I also have gotten to see some other seedlings at other gardens. There was a particularly nice Eight Miles High seedling at Guy Pierce’s. It is a grand toothy parent. M,

Just to be clear, the seedling pictured is from Guy Pierce, not from me. Picture was taken down at Floyd cove this past June. This is an amazing seedling with teeth all along the sepals as well. I’m not sure when Guy will be introducing this daylily, but I’ll be first in line. It was very nice!
