Pebbles in A Pond x Tet. Fancy Face
Ev., Tetraploid Mid, 6.0", 20 buds, 28 H, 4 Way Branching, Re.

RINGS OF NEPTUNE is a pink to pale pink, with rings and chevron patterning. The maiden bloom of RINGS OF NEPTUNE was in the greenhouse. I was fascinated and pleased with the cross outcome but wondered "if the seedling would survive outside in the garden"? The following winter with a severe chill in the greenhouse, I lost several hundred daylilies. To my pleasure, RINGS OF NEPTUNE was a survivor. In the spring, I planted the seedling outdoors where it has become a top performing evergreen in our garden. The daylily almost always has a pattern. The daylily does not suffer from weaker plant habit either as many evergreens do in our climate. Increases well and make nice clump.
