REDEFINABLE

Redefinable is being sold as a hybridizer's daylily. Redefinable has been an excellent breeding daylily taking many variegated daylilies to the next level of fancy. As pictured, Redefinable does not carry the same variegation from bloom to bloom. Redefinable re-blooms up to 3 times. The first scape is short, blooms early, and the blooms aren't very fancy. The re-bloom scapes have been measured at 26 inches. As the daylily settles in during the season, the blooms become more fancy and heavy edged. Redefinable is an easy pod parent. Redefinable does not make huge fans. For folks that have grown Ragamuffin, I use that daylily as a guide as far a fan size comparison. Redefinable is being grown out for me in the South. If Rust is an issue for you, wait another year. Redefinable while evergreen, is a Northern Hardy Evergreen. I've grown Redefinable in zone 6 without snow cover multiple years. However I would recommend mulching it for the winter.
