ARTIE

ARTIE is a 10 inch mauve raspberry unusual form with slightly twisting sepals and a big green throat. Almost all of the seedlings from this cross produced evergreen seedlings so I was pleased to get a dormant daylily. ARTIE has done well in our northern garden. The scape is finer than most of the daylilies I select, but it has supported the blooms well. If you are looking for a large Tet. daylily that displays well in a clump, please consider ARTIE. Artie is one of our farm cats. He loves everyone and thinks they should love him back. Artie wandered in one day and the other cats liked him so he got a name, his shots and was neutered.
Today he is our greeter.
