MORK THE STORK CLEMENT 08 (Limited Edition x Desert Icicle)  40" x 8" em dor dip, uf.   I can't say enough good things about MORK THE STORK.  I spotted MORK on its maiden bloom from at least 100 feet away,  its massive yellow blooms on a tall scape calling “look at me.”. MORK qualifies as an unusual form in two ways, its petals presenting a text book example of the spatulate form and its sepals are quilled.  Simply stated, there is no way to overlook MORK if MORK is in bloom.  MORK's blooms are nicely spaced, giving MORK a longer bloom season than many cultivars with higher bud counts. While registered as having a  40 inch scape and 8 inch blooms, I am quite certain that scape height has approached or exceeded 50 inches and bloom size is regularly 8 ½ to 9 inches with first blooms approaching 10 inches under normal moisture conditions.
