FONT OF MERCY

The quilled sepals are what make FONT OF MERCY of particular interest, a trait no doubt inherited from its pod parent, PRAGUE SPRING. The unknown pollen parentage is an example of what often happens when I attempt to harvest pods from the pod laden scapes of PRAGUE SPRING and end up knocking the pollen markers off of several other pods in the process. These yellow blooms are 6 inches in diameter on a 42 inch tall scape with 3 way branching and 16 buds. Scape height was measured in 2006 and presumably represents scape height under normal conditions. Moderately pod fertile, pollen is non fertile to weak.
