A continuing quest for ruffled, edged daylilies that perform well in the north was again realized when H. D'Artagnan arrived on the scene. This beauty is a mauve-purple with a darker maroon-purple eye. There is a filigreed double-banded edge that incorporates the purple in the eyezone along with white. H. D'Artagnan has wavy, undulating ruffles that open well after cool nights. Here the branching is very good further adding to the overall presentation with a bud count of 35 buds on established clumps.
