Crack Of Dawn

A flower much admired by garden visitors, H. Crack of Dawn is a soft pink self, which can be surprisingly bright having a consistently patterned eye. Unlike its pollen parent, and like its pod parent, it's layered eyezone is consistent and not temperature dependant. The complex eye has multiple bands with the outermost edge being magenta, followed by one of lavender-blue-purple which blends into an icy appliquéd pattern eventually fading into a yellow green throat. This pattern can also be seen on the sepals. The flower is shorter than we generally prefer but the blooms are nicely presented just above the foliage. Fertile both ways $150.00
