I had been at odds for some time as to what name I could come up with for this daylily. As is often the case in situations such as this, the harder you try the more difficult it becomes. Two friends, Dan Robarts and Eric Moore, were at the house while I had the plant on the computer screen and we were talking about this polychrome pastel pink-peach blend that has elegantly ruffled and bordered edges. We noticed the complimentary gold-peach halo going into the green throat. Out of nowhere the statement that it was reminiscent of Brother Charles Reckamp's work was made and the rest was history. Brother Charles Reckamp would be an ideal candidate for anyone interested in edged no eye breeding.
